The Three Monkey Rule for Kids of Divorce

The following is part of our kids workshop(s) helping kids n divorce.

You may be a child who does not want to see what is going on at home after your parents divorce.  You may not want to listen on what is being said by your mom or dad.  You also may feel that you can not talk about how you are feeling because it may hurt either parent .Feeling this way places you under the Three Monkey Rule.

The Three Monkey Rule requires you to take action!  Find a grandparent, teacher or school counselor and tell them how you feel.  If you find that your having trouble explaining yourself, talk about the three monkey rule and the adults will help you figure it out!
