Texas Family Law: What should be included in my Inventory and Appraisement?

An inventory and appraisement is a document that contains a listing of marital assets and debts, as they exist at the time of the divorce. An inventory and appraisement will also contain a representation of property (normally still in existence) which was acquired prior to the marriage, or was acquired during the marriage by gift or inheritance. Your lawyer will need to guide you through reimbursement or transmutation claims you may also have. While an inventory is time consuming and admittedly a dull task, the form is of extreme importance during the divorce proceeding. Spend some time with your lawyer and prepare a detailed inventory to protect your interests. http://www.sossilaw.com
